Welcome to Lokke Tackle Co. I’m Robbz Olson, a proud Perham, Minnesota local, husband, and dad to an amazing five-year-old daughter. Living right in the heart of lakes country means fishing isn't just a hobby for me; it's a way of life year-round.

I started building custom lures because I wanted tackle that was tough enough and versatile enough for the waters we fish every day. Whether we're out on the ice in January or casting under the summer sun, I needed a bait that could do it all. Lokke Tackle is all about providing high-quality, adaptable gear for local anglers. Every metal shad is meticulously crafted, armed with premium hooks, and bottled in glass right here in Perham.

Where the color comes from

Ryan Bade is the master behind the ultra-durable finishes on our metal shads. With a deep background in the auto body industry, Ryan has spent years specializing in professional powder coating, creating finishes built to withstand harsh elements and heavy impacts.

His transition into the tackle world started when Robbz came to him with a problem: custom metal lures needed a paint job tough enough to survive rocks, teeth, and freezing temperatures without chipping to hell. Ryan applied his automotive hardening techniques to the lures, developing a custom powder-coating process that creates an amazing finish that beats almost any lure on the market. Thanks to his auto body expertise, these baits don't just look incredible, they are armored for the toughest conditions out there. (now if i can just get him to go fishing)
